Baptism and Divine Liturgy at St. Maximus Parish

On Saturday, September 15/28, 2013, Mark Arrow was baptized at St. Maximus Church in Owego, NY. Mark is the stonemason who built St. Maximus Church in 2007 and is presently assisting in the construction of Hagia Sophia at the Holy Ascension Monastery in Bearsville, NY.

On Sunday, September 16/29, His Grace, Bishop Christodoulos of Theoupolis, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Maximus Church, together with the rector of the parish, Protopresbyter Thomas Marretta, and visiting clergy from the Holy Ascension Monastery.

Many years to the parish of St. Maximus the Confessor!
